What Kazinum gives you

Identity status shown clearly
Workers who complete Kazinum's identity check receive a separate Verified marker. Workers who have not completed it do not.
Two-sided payment record
The worker requests payment, you pay them directly by M-Pesa or another agreed path, then both sides confirm the result. Private receipt details are not published.
Reviews from confirmed hires only
A review opens only after the customer records the direct payment and the worker confirms receipt for that Job Record.
Score earned by doing
Bronze, Silver, and Gold are based on payment-confirmed work across different customers. Gold also requires identity verification. Tiers cannot be bought.
Dispute support
If the two sides disagree, either can mark the Job Record as a payment mismatch. Confirmation and review actions pause for that record.
Public proof, private details
A worker's Card shows earned trust signals. Owner links, precise request details, payment references and receipts stay outside the public Card.

Pay the worker directly
After the worker sends a payment request, pay through your own approved M-Pesa path or another method you agreed. Kazinum does not receive or hold the funds.

Record and confirm the result
Record the transfer reference or attach an optional confirmation screenshot. The worker checks their own account and confirms receipt before the public Card gains a safe confirmed-job signal.

The worker no-shows
Kazinum does not charge or hold the job funds. Use your private Job Record to check the agreed terms before paying the worker directly, and report a mismatch if the record does not match the outcome.
Work quality is unsatisfactory
Keep the agreed scope and completion evidence in your Job Record. Payment mismatch reporting does not itself guarantee a refund or a workmanship decision.
Payment sent but work not done
Report a mismatch from the private Job Record and retain your own M-Pesa or bank confirmation. Kazinum records the report but does not reverse, refund, or take custody of the transfer.
Worker identity is unclear
Look for the "Verified" marker on the live Kazinum Card. If it is absent, the worker has not completed Kazinum's identity check.

Do I need to create an account to request help?
No. Describe the issue and create the request first. Phone OTP is offered afterwards so you can keep requests, agreements, receipts and rehire actions together.
Is there a fee for customers?
Self-service is free: browse, post, contact, pay the worker, and confirm the Job Record without a Kazinum fee. If you choose the managed concierge pilot, Kazinum quotes KSh 500 for a completed standard request or KSh 750 for urgent same-day dispatch before the work is coordinated.
What happens if the job goes badly?
Report a mismatch from the private Job Record and retain your original transfer evidence. Kazinum records the two sides' status but does not guarantee the work, hold funds, or issue refunds.
Can I hire a worker without using M-Pesa?
Yes. Choose M-Pesa or another direct-transfer method in the payment request. Kazinum records the request and confirmations; the actual payment happens outside Kazinum and remains between you and the worker.
Are the reviews real?
Reviews are tied to a specific Job Record and open only after the customer records payment and the accepted worker confirms receipt. That is stronger evidence than an open review form, while still depending on both parties' truthful confirmation.
What if I have an urgent job and need someone today?
Describe the issue and timing in one sentence. Kazinum routes the request immediately; you can still open the worker directory if you prefer to contact someone yourself.
