What Kazinum gives you

Identity verified
Every worker has submitted a National ID and had it checked before appearing on Kazinum. You know the person is real.
M-Pesa payment proof
Payments go through a Safaricom STK push. The confirmation is recorded on both sides — amount, code, and timestamp.
Reviews from confirmed hires only
A review can only be left if a payment was made through Kazinum. You cannot review someone you did not hire. No fake stars.
Score earned by doing
Bronze, Silver, and Gold scores are computed from verified jobs, ratings, and time on platform. They reflect real history, not paid promotion.
Dispute support
If something goes wrong, we have the M-Pesa transaction record, both sides of the job agreement, and the worker's verified identity. We investigate — not just forward a complaint.
Portable and public
Every worker's card is public. You can view their full history before you contact them. Nothing is hidden behind a paywall on the customer side.

The M-Pesa confirmation is saved on both sides. You can access your proof any time from your account. The worker's card updates immediately.
When things go wrong
Honest answers to hard questions.
Problems happen. Here is exactly what Kazinum does — and does not — guarantee.
The worker no-shows
If payment has not been sent yet, you owe nothing — you agreed through Kazinum so there's a job record, but no charge occurs without your M-Pesa PIN. If you pre-agreed on partial payment, you can file a dispute.
Work quality is unsatisfactory
You can file a quality dispute within 48 hours of job completion. We use the agreed job description and photos to assess. Disputes result in a note on the worker's profile. Repeat disputes affect their score.
Payment sent but work not done
We have the Safaricom transaction record. We contact the worker through their verified phone number. Unresolved payment disputes are escalated and the worker's card is flagged.
Worker identity is unclear
Every worker with an "ID Verified" badge has had their national ID authenticated. You can request to see the badge before agreeing to the job. If a worker does not have the badge, we show that clearly.

Do I need to create an account to browse workers?
No. Browsing Kazinum Cards, reading reviews, and seeing scores are all free and public. You only need to create an account when you want to confirm a hire.
Is there a fee for customers?
No. Browsing worker cards and confirming hires is free for customers. Kazinum is funded by workers who choose the Pro plan.
What happens if the job goes badly?
File a dispute through your account within 48 hours of the job. We have the M-Pesa record, the agreed job description, and the worker's verified identity. We investigate and respond within one business day.
Can I hire a worker without using M-Pesa?
You can agree terms and contact workers through Kazinum without paying via M-Pesa, but payment proof and the Kazinum guarantees only apply to M-Pesa transactions made through the platform. Cash or direct M-Pesa transfers outside Kazinum are not covered.
Are the reviews real?
Yes — and verifiably so. Reviews can only be submitted by customers who made a payment through Kazinum for that specific worker. You cannot review someone you did not hire. The review form only appears after the M-Pesa confirmation is received.
What if I have an urgent job and need someone today?
You can browse, contact via WhatsApp, and have someone on-site without pre-hiring through Kazinum. You can log the payment through Kazinum after the fact if the worker has a card — both sides confirm the job and the M-Pesa is sent.
